can i wear a shirt under this?
i wanted to wear this for christmas eve, but i know i'll be freezing, could i get away witha long sleeve white shirt or maybe purple/magenta?

I disagree w/ the other posters - that looks like a fairly heavy cable knit - right? IMO a pashmina or wrap is going to look grandma - ish, and a cropped jacket, regardless of the material just isn't going to work OVER a cable knit sweater -
I'd wear a very VERY fitted black shirt underneath - something that's practically tights on your arms

i agree.. tight shirt is the way to go.. so it almost looks like its supposed to be there as part of the dress

i agree.. tight shirt is the way to go.. so it almost looks like its supposed to be there as part of the dress
I agree as well - I would wear a super tight shirt - I would never wear something over that

The cable knit is very heavy, so even finding a fabric that would go would be pretty hard and a wrap would be a PITA with the 3 kids. I think i'm going to try it with a real thin black long sleeve tshirt.
