Can I see your decals? Would like your opinion on my idea too.
I'm thinking about them for a big, plain area above my living room wall. This picture is really old, from 2 years ago but it's the only one I have that shows the area:
See the white part and the door up on the left? That's the attic door.
I was thinking about one side being some kind of nature decal like this tree:
Or something similar on the right. And then some kind of saying about family or something nice on the left. I could have smaller decals of birds or butterflies here and there between the quote and the tree, going above the door.
What do you think? Please be honest, if you think it's tacky or too much, feel free to say so.

I like the tree a lot. I am not crazy about the birds.
I feel the wording might be just too much/too busy. But I can't real get a good visual in my head so it's really hard to say.

I don't know about the tree - because I feel like a tree should be growing from the floor, kwim?
I like the ideas of the birds and butterflies. Then you can get a saying about family and soaring?
They also make really nice chandelier decals.

we did a whole off these iron vines from blik- in this chocolate color- looks awesome!

not a huge fan of the decals. nice in a playroom, child's room or nursery but IMO not in a living room or den.

If you are going to do a saying, maybe put it over the doorways?
Have you seen the tree branches that come from the side of the wall? I like those a little bit better. I guess it also depends on where the furniture is in the room too.

Yea, I see what you mean. Maybe I shouldn't even put decals up there. It's just so big and boring! At first I was thinking of some kind of shelving but I'd never get up there to dust. With the skylights there, you would absolutely see the dust too.

I like the thought of birds or butterflies up there. The tree would look out of place.

Some of them are pretty cool and you could get one in a funky color.
