Can I just say...
...that the IM HCG shot was less painful and easier than the SQ shots?!?!
I may be crazy, but I used no ice, no nothing and I was shocked when DH said "o.k. done". I literally barely felt a thing...is that weird???
Here I was all worked up over this and it turned out to be easier than what we've been doing for the last week!
Anyway, thank you all for your help...now we wait for ER!!!!!

I've been getting the POI shots which is IM. I was surprised also that it didn't hurt. It's so scary looking.
So, glad that went well. I praise your DH for giving you the IM shot (since mine wont do it).

Yay! So glad it went well! I actually prefer the I'm shots to the sub-q shots. I find it a lot less uncomfortable.

Glad it went well! Those needles are so intimidating! It hurts the person who is giving you the injection, way more than it hurts you! I have a friend who is nervous about the injection and I told her that Drawing Blood is more painful than the IM.
