Can I eat strawberries while BF?
I am curious because I know you're not supposed to give them to babies for quite some time in case of allergies, so do I need to stay away from them since I'm BF-ing? I mean, I'm not allergic to them, but still...TIA!

I ate strawberries all the time when I BF Julia, and she never had a reaction to it.
I say its fine, go and enjoy!!

I do ALL the time, I LOVE strawberries and they have not affected DD in the least. Enjoy!

GOODIE! My mom cut some up for me and put them in the fridge to masurate (sp?) with some sugar, and I have those little strawberry shortcake things, so I'm going to have a treat for breakfast

I think the only thing that may affect the baby is the Vitamin C in them. On several BF websides I consulted regarding BF and diet, it said that one of the foods to avoid was those containing alot of vitamin C. If the baby isn't fussy after, then definately indulge! Summertime strawberries are definately the best!!
