Can I borrow your rose-colored glasses?

Unfortunately, well, no, not unfortunatley....but.....I happen to be a realist and even though I don't agree with a lot of things that go on in this world, hey, that's the way it is.

Are you a realist or do you think the world is this great place filled with rainbows and butterflies?

Re: Can I borrow your rose-colored glasses?

I'm an optimist and realist. I understand the gravity and sadness of the world we live in, but I'm still naive enough to think that it can change, and that I can change it in one way or another

I"m a realist, but I sometimes get caught up in the what-ifs and the if-onlys and those thoughts can totally skew my realist way of thinking.

Re: Can I borrow your rose-colored glasses?

Great question!

I am a realist...watching the news saddens, disturbs and makes me want to keep my child indoors forever (half joking!) BUT....i think i'm also an eternal optomist.

I look for the good in people and like to think change can happen. The littlest gestures i see from people (giving up a seat for the elderly, holding a door for someone) gives me SOME faith in the world!

In most cases, I'm close to a pure realist. Once in a while, I'll swing a little to the optimistic or pessimistic side, but not too far, and I usually settle back down to realist after a while.

I'm a realist that hopes for the best.

Human nature never ceases to amaze me in either direction.

I am definitely a realist, however, I also am someone who has hope. I like to think they balance themselves out when needed.
