Can I borrow a girl...
Just so I can go to the American Girl store for the day. I love my boys... Wouldn't want it any other way, but there are just some things I want to do with a girl. My mom used to take my nieces every year to the American Girl store. Now they are too big. I have borrowed them to go get my nails done with, but they are so busy being young teens. HArd to find the time.
Any other moms of boys feel this way once in a while? I have amazing times with my boys. Just would love to do some girly stuff once in a while instead of crash cars, wrestle, etc. They don't care for princess movies or dolls, but they do like stuffed animals. BTW... I'm not even a girly girl either. I always had a feeling I'd have boys and didn't mind. I know I can do those stuff with boys too. Just my boys aren't into it. Oh well...

See and this is one of the reasons I am sooooooo happy I have a boy....I work near the store and would rather pull my eyelashes out one by one than go near that place.

The only time I feel this way is when I see those super cute, super girly outfits and all the fun accessories. It makes me sad but I find other ways to compensate with my son. He has quite the fedora and bow tie collection.

Anytime you want! I have 2 girls and will gladly let someone else take them to American Girl! lol They are only 3 and 1 so you may have to wait a bit.
I am not a girly girl either so these poor kids are never gonna be ruffled out or wearing ANYTHING with a princess on it. (well until they start buying their own clothes! lol)

You can gladly take one of mine! I took my DD there for tea and to get a bitty baby and it cost me over $300!!! The store was super cute though!

LOL, I also work right nearby and would rather pull my eyelashes out one by one than go near that place. Except I DO have a DD and I'm just crossing my fingers that when she's old enough, she's not interested...
