The Gapstow Bridge by the pond is a family & friends favorite.
Gapstow Bridge Curving gracefully over the neck of the Pond at 59th Street, Gapstow is one of the iconic bridges of Central Park. Design aficionados might notice its striking resemblance to the Ponte di San Francesco in San Remo, Italy.Gapstow Bridge

i usually use gapstow or the Pinebank Arch since it has rock formations so you can do rock/bridge. Unless you want to go more up town which typically most don't want too.

Bethesda Terrace and Fountain, and it's right by the lake, one of my fave spots in the park.
