Can anyone relate when TTC

I recently talked to another TTC and she could relate to the below post. I was curious if anyone had similar experiences with what appears to be IB when you were TTC prior to getting your BFP.

"This month 10pdo I had what appeared to be implantation bleeding. It lasted off and on for 3 days, DEF not my period as it was a very very light pink and a brownish color but only when I wiped. As had cervical mucus with the same brownish color (sorry, TMI).

Long story short, AF was 2 days late and showed up this morning (AF would have been 3 days late) Has anyone experienced implantation bleeding followed by AF a few days later? Maybe implantation didn't "work"? IDK, I'm wondering if I should call the doctor and see if this is normal. I would just like to know for future cycles so I don't get my hopes up.

It sounds like spotting. Happened many times to me when we were ttc.

Sounds like spotting unfortunately. I know some people that had what they thought was af for a very short time, and got a bfp, but not spot, then get AF, then get a BFP.
With my DS i had what i think was implantation bleeding, but with this LO i didnt have anything like that.

It sounds like spotting, not implantation bleeding. I almost always had spotting like that several days before AF. I also had IB before my first pregnancy (which ended in mc), so, I've had both.

yea I agree- spotting... that happens to me once in a while before my period "kicks in"
