Can anyone refer a pediatrician?

I live in Lindenhurst and am delivering at Winthrop. I am looking for a Dr. in Massapequa, Lindenhurst, Babylon or West Islip. Any referrals would be appreciated! TIA!

So do I! Saw him today. I have to say, I never would have known this had my friend not mentioned it who goes to Dr. Hitner too.... He has you come once a month for the first7 months, then at 9 months then at 12...this is different from most doctors. I just found out today ( I checked after my friend mentioned she had this issue) that my insurance only covers 7 well visits in TWO years! My son just turned 7 months yesterday!!! So for the next 17 months I have to pay him for the office visitChat Icon Chat Icon I am still staying with him because I love him, but I find their billing department VERY disorganized. After checking with 4 different friends with infants, their insurances never would have covered all the visits he has. I agree with his "philosophy" that he doesn't practice medicine according to insurance guidelines (what he told me today), but at least have your staff be knowledgeable that this could be an issue for some people. Luckily I did flex spending this year and will be able to submit these costs...Sorry so long just something to keep in mind.
