Can anyone recommend video cameras?
DH and I want to get just one joint christmas gift this year, a video cam with the baby coming...
we want one that doesnt record on those little tapes, but rather onto the mini dvd things???
Does anybody have one like that, and have any idea how much they cost??
DH says he saw one at best buy for $1300!!!  we cannot spend that much, but DH shops by price tags, and I'm sure (hoping) that was the MOST expensive one...
any suggestions? I was hoping for more like between $500 and $800

We bought a small canon vid cam in red and it records to memory and sd card memory! Fully digital and convenient. Amazon has the best pricing on electronics or vanns.com

DH bought me the Flip for my birthday, its so easy to use! Even my Dad was able to use it to record a PT session I had with one of the babies.

I second the flip (or one like it) so easy to use and super convienent to keep on you and ready for when the baby does something adorable!

Love my flip but the company has stopped making them. They're only selling while supplies last and you'll only get tech support til 2013 so I wouldn't get one.
