Can anyone recommend Orthopedic Dr at Stony Brook?
I had reconstructive knee surgey on my right knee when I was 17 years old.
My left knee has been really bothering me.
My first surgey was done at the Hospital for Special Surgery in the city by an amazing Dr.
I just want to get my knee checked out, if it bad (which I don't think it is) I'll back to the same Dr.
I am just looking for someone who can take a look at it.

Dr. Wesley Carrion is fabulous, although i believe his specialty is spinal...
lemme check the MD database (i work in a PT office)

ok, I looked up patients that I know have knee issues, and the majority of them have seen these Doctors:
Dr. Divaris
Dr. Penna
Dr. Kottmeier

go to Dr. Stubel in Smithtown--I believe his ofc is on Route 111
we were referred to him by my uncle who is a Dr and knows who some of the BEST dr's are.
Dr STubel did my stepbrother (a few times--knee and collarbone) and my stepmother for a ganglion on her wrist.

Does it have to be Stony Brook? St. Charles is an excellent orthpedic hospital. I can recommend a bunch of Dr.'s that operate there. Also, several Dr.'s from Special Surgery have practices on LI as well. Scott Alpert is one -- he's in huntington though.
