Can anyone give me info on Surround Sound Systems???
I know this is what my DH wants for xmas. Anyone know any good surround sound systems I can get for under $200? TIA!

If you mean 5.1 surround sound....you are looking more at the $1000 and up (way up).

Ours was around that price--I think it is Bose--I'll ask DH tonight. It may not be *great* but it is enough to get the windows and ceiling shaking!
ETA: I think ours sells for $400 but they gave us a deal (PC Richards) because we got our plasma from there at the same time.

Bose is awesome, there is a Bose store in Roosevelt field but they also sell Bose on QVC
The prices run from $300-$500

Ohhh, didn't know they were so expensive. I already got him stuff and we got eachother a plamsa tv last week  so I didn't want to spend too much.
I heard Bose was good... going to look into that, thanks!

I bought one last year from Samsung for $200. Its not top o the line but it sounds great. It's got a 5 disc carousel which plays DVD's and CD's. Its also got a FM receiver built in. its got optical sound which is and added bonus and its got a usb pot to show pictures through the TV.
It is this unit minus the Wireless Rear speaker transmitter:
