Can anyone else not stand the smell of bonfires/firepits?
I'm not sure why it bothers me so much... but I swear I get SUCH a bad headache from the smell of fires- even the fireplace bothers me.
My neighbors have a firepit and they are CONSTANTLY burning it. I don't know if they have some really bad or damp wood- but my GOD - the stench is unreal! I can't even stay outside- that is how bad it is. I come in and my hair stinks of it, my clothes, everything. I was in the pool this evening and literally had to go inside- I was getting an awful headache.
And the kicker- I come in and apparently my AC units are sucking the stench in...so my house REEKS now!
I don't know- it's like 90 degrees out at 10:30 pm- why would you want to gather around a smoking hot fire on a night like this anyway??
Just wondering if anyone else is bothered by the smell of burning wood- seems to me that everyone I know loves that smell.. maybe it's just me!!

I love the smell. We have one. We do burn it if we sit outside. I also burn the fireplace all winter and wish I could get the nice smell inside the house.
