Can an infant get a rash from teething?
DS has been ULTRA cranky and not sleeping well at all. I took him to the ped on Friday to rule out an ear infection. The ped found nothing wrong with him and said it could possibly be from teething although she didn't see any teeth coming in. Yesterday afternoon he developed a red rash (not major) on his back his cheeks a little and on the top of where his diaper would come up to on his stomach. Should I be concerned? Should I call the ped? TIA

I would take him to the ped...I've def heard of a drool rash from teething, but not by the diaper area and the back!!

i have never experienced, but have heard of excessive drool -> diarrhea -> rash from teething...

My son had this same rash (sounds like) two week ago....I chalked it up to a new food.

she's good, getting up every morning ant 515 and the falling asleep in our bed for another two hours and I can swear her top gums are swollen but no signs of any top teeth yet!! We need another playdate soon!!!

We do need another playdate! He misses her . He has two teeth on top already but praying another one is coming in because I'm going nuts!!!!

my DS seems to be teething getting his 7th tooth and yes he seemed to develop a rash the same description as your baby.... what did ped say?
