Camera Girls..i need your help

Depends if you want a point and shoot or a digital SLR.
I'm a big fan on Canon, I have a Canon Digital Rebel SLR and a Canon Point n shoot. Love how lenses are interchangeable, picture quality, ease of use.
I've got my eye on the new Canon Rebel XSi, more like a wish

We have the Canon Rebel SLR b/c DH insisted - but I wanted the Nikon D40 (I think that's what it is) based on recommendations here. Either way, I don't think you can go wrong!

i like this site for camera reviews. i have a canon dslr and recently purchased a canon p&s for when i can't lug the big one around and/or just want a quick shot.
i am partial to canon only because i've personally had bad experiences with nikon. for dslrs, from what i understand, canon and nikon are considered the coke and pepsi of cameras with professionals leaning more towards nikon.
