Came back from my dr. appt.
and STILL not dialated..this baby is waaaaaayyyyyyy too comfy..anyway the dr. said that when i come back next week..my visit will be a long one..i have to be hooked up to a monitor or something? does anyone know what they do? by then i'll be 40 weeks..

They will check to see if your uterus is contracting along with the baby's heart rate

They'll probably be doing an NST(non stress test) which monitors the baby's heartrate and contractions. They might also do a biophysical profile which is just a sonogram to check how the baby is doing.
