Calm Before the Storm (re: sleeping/eating schedule)

So, I'm a brand new mommy. My little one is only 12 days old. He feeds every 4-5 hours (usually we wake him to eat during the day). He seems like a very content baby, and b/c he is eating every 4-5 hours, we're only getting up with him 1x a night for feedings (bottle).

Could this really be a pattern of things to come, or should I count on him "changing" as he gets a bit older and sleeps less? I am so scared he is spoling us right now, and I'm in for a rude awakening.

Any insight?

It sounds like you are doing a great job!!! They all change at some point sleep wise, sometimes for teething or a growth spurt or for no reason we can figure out at all. He may continue to sleep well and go for longer stretches, but its so hard to know!!!
