Calluses- what works?
Any reccomendation for calluses on your feet?
My DH uses this razor like thing to shave his off, but it honestly freaks me out. I feel like I'm going to go too far and cut myself.
The ped egg doesn't work too well for me either.
Any good creams that really penetrate better than the run of the mill body/hand cream?

Re: Calluses- what works?
The place I got to get a pedi has this enzyme callus remover they use. It tingles and almost stings, and it does a decent job. It softens the skin, then they scrub like crazy to get off the calluses. I don't know what it is, but everyone that comes in there loves it, expect me.
I actually prefer the razor thing. I wouldn't do it myself, cause I don't trust myself lol. But they do a great job at my nail spa. They do the razor then a light scrub then lotion and my feet are perfect.

There's a cream called Pretty Hands and Feet I used to get at Walgreens. I haven't gotten it in a few years, but it works really well. It's kind of gross, but you rub it onto your feet and the calluses rub right off into balls

the kerasal line of products works pretty well. they have a cream and callus removing pads (they're 2 sided and medicated).

I go to a Russian nail place that uses razors. It's amazing! That's what you need, don't actually do it yourself, I would be scared too! I get it done there a few time per year and it really works.

I use Tweezermans Callus smoother.
Callus Smoother
Then I use Gold Bond for Feet every night.
I like the razor too but it only leads to more calluses because you are creating ridges.

I had noticed that a lot of the nail places I was going to had signs up that they aren't allowed to use the razors anymore by law. I have to find a place that will do it!

You need to go to a Russian owned place, or Eastern European. They still do it because all their clients expect it and they certainly know how to do it well, not take off too much etc.

I use pumice in the shower, then use 'Heeltastic'. I got it at BB & beyond, and it it's like a solid deodorant stick, but it's a very penetrating thick moisturizer. works good on heels and calluses.
