CALLING ALL SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKERS
Did you do you internship at a school?
I want to know, how imperative it is to have done an internship in a SD in order to be viewed as a potential candidate to work in a school.

I would say it would definitely be VERY beneficial, especially if that is where you want to eventually work. Jobs in schools are very hard to come by and they are always looking for someone with experience. HTH!

Yes, my second year I was placed in a high school. I feel it really boosted my resume when looking for positions. But, it is not an easy job to come by. It took me years, and MANY interviews before I was finally hired.
