Calligrapher?
Okay, so it's another WR question - sorry! 
The place where I'm ordering my invitations from wants A LOT to do the calligraphy writing for the envelopes. Does anyone know anyone that does calligraphy or is it simple to do on the computer myself?

I got my invites at the Writing Place in Stony Brook and I had the computer calligraphy done and it was inexpensive. Plus, they were able to match the font on my invites.

I did my wedding envelopes myself. I created envelopes in MS Word and downloaded a FREE font from http://www.dafont.com/
edited to add: I found the exact font on my invitations

IMo Computer calligraphy is nicer and cheaper and it doesn't smear in the mail like many hand ink ones do

we got professional computer calligraphy done from a LIW vendor-- Follow Your Heart.
I highly recommend using her.

for hand calligraphy??? if so thats soooo inexpensive!!!I need the number to that place
hand calligraphy usually is around 3-4 per invite

I think so. I remember on LIW there was someone who posted that someone did calligraphy for .50 cents an envelope -- mind you that was over 3 years ago.
