Is chiffon cake made out of angel food cake? Are they two seperate things?

I'm ordering a cake for DC and at first was going with a heavier cake I think it was cream cheese based I'm not sure the name it was just heavy kind of cake. Then I told the bakery I wanted something lighter so they recommended Chiffon. I'm not sure if I've had it before. I just hope it tastes good. Any input on Chiffon cake is appreciated. If it helps the fillings for this cake will be 1 layer of canolli and a seperate layer of chocolate mousse. There will be cake betweenn the fillings so they are seperate. Do you think Chiffon is good or I should go with the heavier kind of cake?
