caffeine

do you think having a snapple a day is bad? I am so tired of water i need something else during the day too. It's below the reccommended caffeine levels but not sure if I should try to cut it out completely...

Re: caffeine

Go ahead and drink it... One a day won't do any harm as far as caffeine. However I do remember reading that you shouldn't drink certain types of teas (maybe green tea?) because they can cause contractions? Not sure how accurate this is but just wanted to share.

Re: caffeine

I have been having an unsweetened iced tea mostly everyday. Its not excessive and I'm sure its fine.

caffeine

I believe as long as you stay under 200mg of caffeine per day you're ok!

I drink 1 can of Diet Pepsi or Diet Coke for lunch and one for dinner. I'm sure you're fine with a Snapple!

Re: caffeine

I've been drinking peach snapple pretty consistently - not daily but almost (1 a day most days). I also have decaf coffee in the morning. So far (knock on wood) the baby and I are both fine!

caffeine

I have either a coke or iced tea each day. It's ok as long as you don't go over board.

I drank one sometimes two cups of coffee my entire pregnancy.

I just made sure to drink copious amounts of water as well.

I was told no more than 200 mg a day.....to put that in perspective, a can of coke has 35 mg of caffeine
