Cactus Salon in Plainview on Old Country Rd.
Anyone know anything about this place? Or if you go there? Who would you recommend??
I have VERY fine STRAIGHT hair that needs a GOOD cut. (can you tell I'm desperate with the CAPS?  )

Go to NuBest in Manhasset. A little $$ but FANTASTIC stylists. I have fine straight hair and Allison does my hair.

My cousin works at the Cactus Salon in Dix Hills. She gives awesome haircuts & also says that she trusts that girls who work there to cut her hair as well.

I go to the Cactus Salon on South Oyster Bay Road. I use Nancy. She is awesome. She used to work at the Syosset Cactus Salon and recently switched to the other Plainveiw location.

I get color @ that Cactus in Plainview and Ashley cuts my hair. Not sure if that helps you at all. I get a very basic cut...
She was recommended to my by my colorist, Matt. She does a really good job b/c her cuts are really easy for me to blow out.

I see Eddie for color and Desiree for cuts and up dos..I've also had my hair cut by Jared and he was very good.
Desiree was really good with my very fine hair. I don't have a lot of it.
