Safety 1st Adjustable Mult-Purpose Strap, I bought them on amazon, but depending how you use them baby can grab and with their weight pull them off after enough interest.

I took off the stickers on the ones ds riped off, and replaced it with the 3m command hook adhesive strips. I really didn't want to damage furniture, so this was the best option I found.

Does your child go into the cabinets already? If they don't I wouldn't put them on. My kids are almost 4 and 5 years old and the only thing I ever did was put up a baby gate and put the outlet covers on.
My older one, I showed him which cabinet he was aloud to go in (it had the tupperware) so that kept him busy while I was cooking and he never went into any other cabinet. My DD never went into anything. I am a big believer in teaching them what they are aloud to touch and not touch because what happens when you go to a place that doesn't have cabinet locks. I feel it is a false sense of security.

If they are already going into the cabinets, my friend used the ones that have a magnetic key.

Good question! I need to get htem too. DS is a drawer puller and a cabinet opener. He loves anything that opens and closes!

We have the ones with the magnetic key.
Not sure what they are called.
They were here when we bought the house and we just never took them off- we just disabled them.
Now that she is almost at the point of being 100% mobile we will just re- engage them if need be

we have those too, the kind that actually only requires taping them to the inside (not screws). DD has NEVER tried to open a cabinet once we installed them! It's great cause nothing ugly on the outside
