Cabana rental at Sesame Place?

Has anyone rented one? Was it worth it? Did the characters come over to your cabana at all?

A friend of mine did it last year. They loved it but its not worth the money IMO. Unless you are splitting it with someone, but its still a lot for just a day.

It totally depends on what you need. If you have an infant it would be great because it's totally shaded with ceiling fans, furniture and a fridge. However, there are also first come, first serve lougne chairs on the other side of the pool as well as other tables by the small wading pool if you're just looking for someplace to sit and relax for a while. If you get there early when the park opens, you can definitely stake out a good spot. Not sure how often the characters come by the cabanas but it's definitely a selling feature on all the signs.

Also, the cabanas aren't in the most convenient locaiton...they're all the way in the back sort of in rows so it's not like they're right by the water, KWIM?

But if you can share (up to 6 people) it might be nice, especially on a hot day.
