Ca anyone (or their DH) recommend an air compressor-I need to make it up to my DH
My DH has been looking for a pancake air compressor since he as been doing a lot of side jobs (bathroom renov., kitchens etc). IF you saw yesterday, I posted that I sold my gold and got $450. So this morning he ASKED me if he could have $200 to buy a small air compressor instead of lugging around his giant one. I snapped at him and he stormed out.
So I'd like to go and pick him up one today and surprise him. I'm so mad at myself.

Call him like you're upset still and say " so what kind of air compressor do you need that costs $200? I want to look online and see if I can find it for a better price."
This way you know exactly which one he wants.
If he is already planning on getting a compressor, he probably knows which one he wants. If you get the wrong one, he'll be "stuck" with one that he doesn't really like. You can't go by what is the "best", or what the experts recommend, etc. Sometimes guys want something for what seems like the silliest of reasons (sort of like "needing" 8 pairs of black dress shoes....  ). I'm very particular with tools. DW knows that, and would never buy stuff without checking with me first.

And this is why I love that men join this site...its nice to get the other perspective!
And it just so happens, I went to Loew's and bought the exact one he wanted...great minds think alike, I guess. He was very happy with his surprise!
