C25k
Hi all. It's been a long time since I've been on this board. I recently started c25k. Today I'm suppose to start week 2. I'm pretty sure I can survive this week but I'm nervous getting to week 3 and on. I do my runs at the gym (even though I hate the treadmill)
What do you do to stretch? If you run on the treadmill how fast should I be running. I know the instructions tell you to run slow but I feel awkward going slow on the treadmill. Any advice will be helpful.
TIA

Re: C25k
I recently started this back up again too. I am on Week 2 also.
I don't run that fast. I run between 5.3-5.6 and will sometimes go up to 6.0 depending on how tired I am, lol.
I walk anywhere between 3.8-4.3.
Running at 6.0 gives you a 10 minute mile (which isn't that fast for me - I used to do 9 minute miles when I ran regularly a few years ago), so that sort of puts it in perspective.
I don't really stretch, I just do the 5 minute cool down... I know my app gives some examples of stretches in it but I don't always have time to do them.
HTH!

Re: C25k
Thnx that did help. I am going to increase my running speed because I feel very unbalanced when I run too slow (if that makes any senses)
