c-section mommies of 12 month+ - Q?
I noticed that I still have some tenderness when "pressing" deep.
I always pressed down a bit on my belly to check but just realized tonight that I still have tenderness on one side when I really press down deep.
Anybody experienced the same thing?
I had my OB visit last month and did not mention it to her at the time since I never really noticed. She did not notice anything either.

have tenderness and 'bumps' way down deep ... I feel like it's never going to be just a small line of nothing as everyone always says

Wow, I've had 3 and I never ever ever ever even touch the scar I brush over it in the shower and even that gives me the heebie geebies I can't tell you if bumps/tenderness are normal but I would venture a guess as to it is. You are still healing.

Actually it's not the scar, it's my belly. Half way between my belly button and the scar about 3 inches to the right.

Hmm I don't feel anything either but could that be something else not related to the csection like your ovary or something else?

Yep. Still happens. I went to Dr H last night for my 16w checkup and asked her if it meant anything and she said, "Yes, you had a c-section." She is funny She is not worried about it and said it is common and may never go away.

I have this too - but on my left side. I think that it may be an ovary or something else though. I always forget to ask the dr when I am there though.
I am however pg with#2 and it hasn't been an issue at all (or I definitely would have remembered to mention it!).
I have an appt tomorrow, and if I can remember to ask what it might be, I will and I will let you know.
ETA: dd will be 2 next month - I noticed the "pain" up until a few months ago, but only when I pressed on that side.

Re: c-section mommies of 12 month+ - Q?
Well, I am only 10 months PP, but I don't feel any tenderness at all, but then again, I don't go pressing any areas near there My incision did open up at around 12 weeks. That kinda sucked!

Yes, this is exactly what is like for me as well. I guess it is quite normal.

same here 11 months pp but no pain - i just try to ignore that its there. when i asked ob why its raised she said that it may be just the way i heal but i have other scars and none have ever keloided. she also asked if my incision had re-opened at any point i told her not that i know but who knows
