Bye-bye bathroom!

So, although HGTV gave us a complete remodel for our bathroom, DH just cannot accept that he didn't have any design input, so he's changing the layout next week.

He's moving the toilet to next to the shower, and he's installing a double sink vanity to replace the one they gave us.

I'm secretly excited, but shhhhhhhh don't tell him! Chat Icon

You think I can weasel him into repainting while he's at it? Chat Icon

Re: Bye-bye bathroom!

that really stinks that you had no design output, but at least now it will be the way you want it!

We had some - I was interviewed and told them exactly what I envisioned and wanted, and to their credit, they gave me everything except the double sink (and the color), which would have cost more because they'd have to rework all the plumbing. So, we're going to sell the fancy sink and vanity and use the money to make it into exactly what we want.

Definitely sell it. I priced out that faucet when I was doing my master and Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon All I remember is that the entire plumbing suite... tub, shower and sink faucet was over $4,000 and that's with a contractor's discountChat Icon Went with a similar one from Groehe that was less than 1/2 the price.

Good luck, can't wait to see the result.
