Buying lunch at school
How much is it for your child to buy lunch at school?
and how often do they do it
My DS is in 1st grade
lunch is $2.25
and he buys probably 90% of the time, he's so tired of sandwiches. But the school serves very healthy lunches so I'm ok with it.

In general my girls buy lunch. They buy lunch as long as they like the "special" which is 3/4 x per week....it's $2.00 per lunch...
This week we are buying b/c it's so hot that even with the ice pack in their lunch bags their lunches are warm by lunch time!!!! Especially Lexi's b/c she has recess before lunch...
I seriously figured it out and it doesnt save me all that much money to make them their lunches. AND...there are certain days that they would disown me if I didnt let them buy...popcorn chicken and tacos just to name 2!!!

DD's lunch is $2 a day. If I buy 10 or more they are $1.90 (woo hoo)
Before I married DH she was getting reduced price lunches for .25 cents a day ! ! !
I hate making lunch, but usually do 2-3x a week. Once school is finished and she starts summer camp on the 30th I have to make lunch EVERYDAY !!!
