Buying a Mattress

DH and I desperately need a new mattress- ours is terrible- does anyone have any recommendations on what to buy?

It really depends on what you like to sleep on. Do you like a firm mattress, a super firm, pillow top, plush top? I have a Sterns & Foster plush top. To me, it is the best mattress I've ever slept on. I bought it at Sleepy's.

the plush sounds good- but is it plush on one-side- I like to flip the mattresses monthly to get the most out of them

It is one-sided so what I do is rotate the mattress. I thought that was a downside to it being only on the top, but I've had it for almost 4 years and it is as good as new so no issue with it flattening.

We have a Tempurpedic mattress for over 3 years now and it's as good as new. They even come with a lifetime guarantee. They're pricey but well worth it because you won't need to buy another mattress ever again.

I would go to sleepy's. They have that diagnostic thing where you and DH will lay on a computer and it comes up with the mattress type that will be good for both of you.

Ours is a body diagnostic. It was quite pricey ($4200 Chat Icon ) BUT I haven't had a bad night of sleep on it
