Buy Buy Baby Return Policy
Did anyone ever return an item to Buy Buy Baby which wasn't on there registry and no receipt.
I got two tummy playtime mats. The boppy one, that I originally had on my registry, and the tiny love, which was on my registry.
I would like to return the boppy one. Not too sure what store the person bought it in but I know that Buy Buy Baby does carry it.
Do you think that would be a problem?

They shouldn't give you a problem - you'll only get store credit though. But to be safe you can add it to your registry online.

so long as they carry the item - they will take it back - regardless of where it was purchased!

Yup - I returned something I got from my shower that I didn't register for and might not have even been from there with no problems!

I called about returning a Peg Pliko Switch stroller that is BRAND NEW with everything (including the hanging tags still in the plastic) attached, but it is assembled and is out of the box. Literally, it is brand new but not on my registry.
They said they would take it back for an exchange, but charge a 20% restocking fee. The 20% equates to $100. Don't you think that's excessive to restock a perfect new stroller?
Do you think if I add it to my registry, they would waive the restocking fee?

I am always returning there. They take everything back w/out a problem, but you do get store credit not cash.
