"busty" BFing mamas

Where are you getting your nursing bras? I went to destination and the ones I got just are not cutting it. I have to be careful not to wear any that are too tight, etc. Which means no underwire. I have one that fits me from DD but it's not very supportive or attractive for that matter. I kinda feel like Mrs. Delvecchio from SNL Chat Icon

Re: "busty" BFing mamas

My favorite favorite favorite, which I landed upon after trying MANY other bras with my first, are Bravado seamless. They have no underwire (which, as you can probably relate, can be a scary thing when you're "well endowed"), but they are SO supportive and so comfortable. I hate wearing bras to bed, but in the beginning, when I was leaking so much, I had no issue wearing those. It's all I used with my second. I have also heard great things about Anita nursing bras for busty women, but don't have personal experience with them.

This one - it's my favorite. So comfy! I even like the padding and I usually hate padding.

I also have 3 from Target - they are in the Bravado line made for Target (Basics) so about 1/2 the price. One of them I have in 2 colors - StellaExternal Image
and the other is a sleeping bra - Emma External Image
They are ok. The sleeping one I didn't expect to be terribly supportive but it was good when I wanted to make sure I wouldn't leak all over the place. The other ones are good, but definitely not as attractive or comfortable as the Body Silk one.

Yes, I ordered online. I happened to first see them on zulilly I think, so I got a deal. They are pricey, but well worth it IMO!

I only had underwire ones, so maybe this won't be helpul but I went to a store and got measured. They gave me a brand called Anita in a much different size than I was buying for myself. Made such a difference from the ones I bought in destination maternity and target - probably for both fit and quality reasons. You can order them online but if you can get to a store it would probably be worth it to get measured. Not much experience with non underwire ones though.
