Business Casual?
Normally, I work in a very relaxed, creative place. People wear flip flops, capris, jeans, etc.
Next week, I have a meeting at a very corporate, very financial company. I was prepared to head on over to here and ask where I can get a really nice, well made suit...because honestly, I need one anyway.
Then they told me it "feel free to come in business casual if that's easier" I feel like business casual is so broad in tems of work environment. What the heck do I do? The suit default? Black pants? Shift dress? Heels?

Re: Business Casual?
Normally I would suggest Ann Taylor but IMO they seem to be getting more casual and less business casual. You should be able to find a suit there though. If you can, hit up the outlets in Riverhead. The Ann Taylor outlet factory has nice suits or I'm sure you can find an appropriate "business casual" dress!

imo, you're fine in a shift dress with some nice shoes.

Re: Business Casual?
I would do heels, pencil skirt and a nice button down tucked in.

Re: Business Casual?
A skirt and blouse or a wrap dress with heels would be fine for business casual in a corporate environment.
