bunny boarding
DH and I are going on a 2 week trip this summer. Usually when we go away, we drop our bunny off at a relative's house. However, this trip is a destination wedding and the ENTIRE family is going!
Does anyone have experience boarding a rabbit? I suppose I could call her vet and see if they do it, but I know that place stresses her out (ever since her spaying).
TIA

Re: bunny boarding
Maybe ask a bunny rescue place . We adopted our chinchillas through a rescue organization and they will post asking for people to board when people go out of town. I know my daughter has taken care of chinchillas for people when they go away.

how about a pet sitter to come in once a day, that would be less stressful than boarding her if you think she would be really stressed...

Ooh good idea. She isn't really a cage rabbit so this might be the best solution. We leave her cage door open and she hops in when she wants to eat or use the litter box, but unless we're at work she isn't locked up.
