Bunk beds

Does anyone with bunk beds regret buying them? I am so torn on what I want to do. The ones I am leaning towards are a twin on top of a full with the ladder just in between the beds and not touching the floor which I like. There is also a twin on twin that would save even more space but the ladder goes to the floor and I dont really like that. I have room for 2 twin beds but the kids play so much in their rooms and it would take up so much floor space. On the other hand I keep reading what a pain to change the sheets is and other horror stories of kids getting hurt. Any insight?

We have a twin over twin bunkbed and are happy with it. We got one with stairs since I didn't want the ladder. There are drawers under the bottom bunk and in the steps which I like. It's a real space saver.

Re: Bunk beds

My older girls have bunk beds and they work out great for them. It gives us the floor space to keep some toys in their room as well as a bookcase and a desk. You get used to changing the sheets. We have a ladder and my girls have never had a problem with it.

Thanks for the replies, I am going to buy them. We are going with the twin over full from Factorybunkbeds.com. Comes with either drawers or a trundle included in price and free shipping and no tax if outside FL

I almost bought them and then googled the injury statistics. Now I would never. My kids are too crazy.

Bunk beds

my ex has twin over twin with stairs and tons of storage, so the kids don't need much furniture.

the only issue he saw with the twin over full is the fighting that would occur, with who gets the bigger bed.
