Bunk bed for a 4 year old and an almost 2 year old???

Bunk bed for a 4 year old and an almost 2 year old???
Would you consider it? I'm pregnant with #3 and I would like ds2 out of his crib by then. I'm not sure if I should do 2 twins or bunk. If I did a bunk I would get one with stairs not a ladder and I put put ds2 on the bottom.
What would you do?

I wouldn't, but my second is really really wild. We ordered bunks for my boys and my oldest just turned 5, and my youngest will be 3 when they come in. I'm still worried about the younger one.
Can you put the younger one in a toddler bed until they are ready to get the bunks? Right now my boys are in the same room, my older son is in a full bed and my younger in his toddler car bed.

I could I just think it will look funny. Ds1 was in a toddler bed at 13 months so I thought ds2 would be ready but you may be right. I was thinking of using a bed rail on the bottom. I think I'm more nervous about the top.

No, children are supposed to be at least 6...it usually says that right on the bed

I would not allow a 2 year old unsupervised access to a falling danger such as a bunk bed.
