Bumbo seat

I'm trying to debate whether or not to get the Bumbo seat? Connor has chunky little thighs so I'm not sure if he'll fit or if he does for how long. He's about 16lbs and almost 25" long already. Do you think it's worth it? I would really like to get something for him to sit in besides the bouncer. He's not liking it as much as he used to. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Re: Bumbo seat

we rarely use ours. Considering how big Connor is already, I don't think you'll get much use out of it.

Re: Bumbo seat

I got one but I returned it. He didnt look that comfy in it and I figured he'd be sitting up soon enough anyway.

I got 3 good months out of mine, and I am ready to sell it now.

I wouldn't bother considering how big he is already.

Re: Bumbo seat

I used it here and there, but he was in and out of it so quickly....he would try to lean back to get out of it once he got used to it. I thought I'd get more use out of it.

I use the boppy for them to sit. It's just one more thing I have to have in my house that I don't have the room for. I'd rather spend the $ on a little baby couch or seat for them for when they actually can sit up and use for a few years. JMO though.

I use it here and there. DD can sit up on her own, but I still use it.

i wish i didn't bother getting one. brendan never liked it and he always looked so uncomfortable. he was always trying to hang over the side. i think he was trying to escape! Chat Icon he still fits in it, but now he is able to flip himself out of it so it's kind of a safety hazard.
