Bug bite
so last night DS got a bug bite right near his eye like on the temple. it started to swell no big deal that happens to me when i get a bite. Well he got up this am his whole left side near his eye was swollen. we gave him benadrly and motrin it hasnt gotten better. we called the ped but the office was closed (3pm) we put a cold compress it just looks like it keeps geting worse. I do hope it looks better in the am. Has anyone goine thru this before what did you do?

My son in Italy got the sickest bug bites. His legs & arms were completely swollen. We bought like a calamine lotion. It took a while to go down, like 3-4 days. I would still call the doc when you can but I wouldnt worry. I hope I helped

im thinking we wont beable to get them till Tues since monday is a holiday.

This happened to DD's leg a couple weeks ago. The Ped said to use Bacitracin.

Whenever DS gets bit by mosquitoes, he is always completely swollen the next day in the area that he was bit.
Usually within a couple of days the swelling goes down. I hope it starts to subside for you to ease your concerns.

well the area around the eye has gon down but now his whole eye is weoollen so bad that he can hardly see the thu his eye poor thing, im sur ehe is fine and it will go away my husband is the one that allways wants to take im to the doc
