BTDT Sesame Place - WWYD?
We are planning to take DS to Sesame Place on Friday. We already booked the breakfast and DH took off of work. The weather forecast has me second guessing if we should make the trip out there. Saturday looks MUCH nicer weather-wise but I always hear how crowded it is on weekends. I know it's not quite peak-season yet but it's kind of close. I haven't been there since I was a kid so I wanted to get opinions from parents who have visited more recently. I want to decide today so I can reschedule the Elmo breakfast if I need to. WWYD? Thanks!

BTDT Sesame Place - WWYD?
I went on a Saturday in May and it was fine. One of the rides we went on had a long line but it wasnt too bad.

BTDT Sesame Place - WWYD?
DH and I just took DS there last week. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and it wasn't crowded at all -- on Wednesday and Thursday.
I wouldn't go when it rains because there's really no indoor stuff to do there. Even the playground areas that are shaded are shaded by climbing nets -- not an actual enclosed structure.
BTW we did the Elmo breakfast too and the food really wasn't good at all -- typical buffet stuff. The best part of course was seeing all the characters but DS didn't like them around him.

Thanks for the heads up! DS is Elmo obsessed and will eat pretty much anything so hopefully he'll still enjoy it

BTDT Sesame Place - WWYD?
I would go on Saturday. We went on June 1st. while there were definetly a lot of people there, We got to do a lot. Butt hen again my kids liked the kiddie pools and Ernie's water works
WE did the breakfast with Elmo- - food was what you expected - nothing great but edible - my kids only eat fruit but they were content looking all around.
They say to get there 15 minutes early but there really is not a need the gates only open at the time of your reservation and the day we went they were a little late.
the tables are assigned so it was no big deal about seating and the buffet is doubled up so it was never crowded. I think we waited a family or so for elmo but at the end there was no wait - and I mean by 9 there was no wait
at 9:30 they pick what they open on our day - they open twiddle area and the roller coaster- so we got on some water rides without any lines - other times they open more dry rides - it was 90 the day we were there.

Go on the non-rainy day.
We have always gone on the weekend and never thought it was all that crowded. The lazy river was the only ride we had to wait long for. Most of our day was spent in the water. I think we waited about 10 minutes for the few dry rides. Not bad at all relative to places like Disney.

we are also going on friday and booked the elmo breakfast, weather forcast has it sunny with chance of showers in the pm so we are going, I took off of work and I cant change that around. weather can change in an instant (like this weekend, sat was supposed to be rained out and it turned ot to be nice) so we are just going to go and hope for the best
