btdt moms..when you were pg and registered...
for dc #1 when did you register and did you register for any furniture? not sure what is proper or not? tia!!!

We registered around 25 weeks. I would absolutely register for furniture if you want to. You can use the completion coupon for it or people might want to chip in and get it for you.

We started our registry at around 22 weeks, and kept going back once a week or so for 3 weeks. It takes a long time! Plus, we registered at 2 places.
No harm in registering for big or expensive items. If family members or groups of people chip in to get them for you, then great! People might surprise you; I was pleasantly surprised by stuff I got for my shower. People tend to be generous with first babies on the way! And if not, well, no harm done. It's just an item on a list.

We registered when i was about 20 weeks or so. I didnt complete the registry until a few weeks later.
I didnt register for any furniture. we bought the crib and my MIL gave us $$ for the dresser/changer..so we got lucky with that.
