BTDT moms with pets
My DD is obsessed with the dogs water bowl and keeps spilling it all over the floor and walking in it. Anyone experience this. I keep it on the counter but I feel bad for the dogs they need it so they can get it anytime. I move it to the floor and DD goes and spills it. Ughhh any thoughts?? TIA!!

what stand? The one i have is the little cooler one whre the water comes down as they drink.

DD tries to play with the water also. We've been teaching her no touch. The way I see it is she's going to need to learn because the bowls are always going to be on the floor.

he does this all of the time but i keep the bowls in the kitchen and try not to let him crawl in there. if he is in there while i'm cooking, i just put the bowl up on the counter. the dogs also have water drip thingies in their crates in the bedroom so if they're thirsty, they can go in there

Sydnie went through this phase. We just continued reinforcing the fact that she is allowed no where near the dogs food/water area. I'd say "we don't go near the dogs food Sydnie" and ask her to back up, walk away, whatever and would physically pick her up and mover her a few feet away if she didn't move. She got the point after a couple of weeks.
