btdt moms: when does this start to happen?

DD is 25 months old and she wants nothing to do with freeze dance, follow the leader, sorting or other sort of interactive games. At what point in time will she like games like that?

My DS is 18 months and loves games where he can interact and copy you BUT he has a 6 yo old sister and he wants to do EVERYTHING she does so he's highly motivated.

My DD was probably 2.5'ish when she started. I remember we were at a christening and they had a DJ for the kids and she started doing everything the DJ asked them to do whether it was a dance or some other activity. That was really the first time that I can remember where she followed along with some sort of interactive game/dance.

I'd say there's probably a very big range of normal there. We do library classes where they do that sort of stuff and some of the kids are very into it and others would rather do their own thing. DD is 2.5 and has loved that sort of thing for a long time but I know some other kids her age that couldn't care less.
