BTDT Mommies with Dogs!
Ok, how do you handle the LOVE that your toddler wants to give the dog?
Maggie is WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL with Christopher, but lately he thinks she is just a big toy to play with and tries to pick her up and chases her around, locks her in her crate, "gives" her her bunny (by "gives" I mean bashes her in the head )
I am not worried about Maggie acting out, I'm worried about her being afraid of him. He loves her, he just doesn't know how to be gentle yet. Besides going "NIIICCCEEE" everytime he goes near her, what can we do?
(BTW, she is standing under my feat under the desk right now b/c he is looking for her )

Honestly, we kept with constantly telling Ali to be gentle to Casey.
Over and over and over and over.
We would show her how to pet Casey nicely and would do that with Ali a couple of times a day, especially when Ali was starting to not be so gentle with her.
I found that it looked like Casey had had enough, I would separate them for a little while.
Now the love they have for each other - there are no words
