BTDT ladies! I need ur help....back from 40wk appt...cramping?
ok ladies i need ur help cuz i dont know what to think!!! my due date is today and i had an internal at my 40 wk appt today! Now ever since i left my doctor's office ive had this uncomfortable crampy feeling like very low under my belly id say. my doc said im 1-2cm and im scheduled to be induced thursday night but hopefully  will come before that! what's causing this crampy feeling anyone know what i mean? does this mean i'll go into labor soon? HELP i really dont know what to think......

Did your obgyn do an internal at your exam today? If so, this may have gotten things started. If you feel cramping in a regular pattern, time the time between the cramps b/c they can be contractions. Good luck.

yes he did do an internal but it just feels more like one constant cramp...its weirddd i dunno what to dooo!!!!!!

At my last internal I was pretty crampy afterwards but they were more like menstrual cramps. It could just be cause your doctor irritated your cervix during the exam. I'm hoping it's that start of contractions for ya though..

Like PP said the obgyn could have irritated it. If if is really painful call your obgyn's after hour's line and ask them for advice. I remember my last visit for DS I was closed and tight and went into labor 18 hours later b/c of the internal.

its not very painful, i guess i will just wait and if it gets more painful ill call my OB thanks ladies! im kinda freaking out but at the same time hoping ill go into labor soon! im so ready to meet our

I am 37 weeks and I was so crampy the other night-I think it is normal and def after an internal--if it gets really bad -call ur doctor :) Good Luck!
