BTDT-Formuala in Hospital
With my 1st LO, the hospital gave me similac formula for him to eat while we were their. We swtiched to Gentle ease a few days upon coming home from hospital.
This time around i am pretty sure i would like to use Gentle ease from the start. Should i bring my own to the hospital so that LO doesnt have to switch when we come home.

if you are sure you want your baby on the gentle ease then you would have to bring it with you- im pretty sure the hospital only offers regular similac and newborn enfamil.

You'd have to bring it. They only offer one type of formula- the original Enfamil or Similac (depending on the hospital) Also, I believe they now give Newborn formula which has a different nutritional value so I am not sure you should start on the Gentlease anyway.

The nutritional difference between newborn formula and Gentlease is negligible - it's like 1 IU of vitamin D or something miniscule. If you know you want to use it, bring it to the hospital.

I would start with what they provide. It's already there, they have the convenient little nurser bottles (2oz) and you never know, your kid might react differently to it than your first one. Every child is different.
Whatever you don't use you can donate, and if you notice issues, you'll know to switch.

If that is what you want to use, I would bring it. I delivered in may at Lij new Hyde park and requested enfamil (instead of similac) and was told they don't have enfamil. And I just wanted the regular newborn formula
