BTDT - Refinishing Floors
For those of you who have had your floors refinished...I was wondering if we should go w/ the high gloss or not? I love the look of the shine w/ the high gloss but everyone says they will show every scratch? My thoughts were as the finish wears off the high gloss will still look glossier longer? What do you think?

We actually used satin finish. You can see the pics in my album, or in my post from yesterday.
We didn't like the idea of super shiny floors. The satin still has a really nice sheen to it.

WE went middle of the road, not satin, and not super gloss. I love how they came out. I did not want it looking like a bowling alley.

We are having our floors done soon. The floor guy said high gloss looks great but after a few months the hallways and high traffic areas would be really shiny on the sides and duller looking in the middle. Based on this we are going with regular finish.
