BTDT - Creams and Bath Products
I'm trying to get everything in order before my twins arrive and I was wondering what products I need to have when they come home.
What would you recommend? Which diaper cream? Shampoo? Body wash? Lotion? What else do I need? What brand do you prefer?

Just crashing
Don't stock up too much on just one. What works with one kid may not work with another.
DS1 used aveeno shampoo and body wash. DS2 got a rash from the wash so I just use a Dove soap (which is mild). I also had to switch to an Eczema cream for DS2.
Loved Burts Bees, but like I said, isn't as good for DS2.
BTW... take as many samples from the hospital. Comes in handy and this way you'll see if it works for the twins

We use Aveeno bath/body wash in the bath, and Eucerin lotion on his face/body (he had very dry skin).
can't hurt to have Aquaphor on hand for very dry skin or if they have cradle cap - its super greasy but effective.
Alcohol and qtips are handy for cleaning umbilical cord stump
Vaseline for diaper cream, but we really only do this once or twice a day if needed. he hasn't had any rash yet

bath - i use dove soap
lotion i use eucerin or aquaphor if she has really dry scaly patches
diaper changes i use aquaphor, will use desitin if she looks a little red (rarely, i'd say once every couple of weeks)
shampoo i use head n shoulders

My favorite butt creams were Aquafor (for everyday use and which I swear by) and Triple Paste (for nasty rashes).
My favorite bath products were Baby Burt's Bees and California Baby...I loved those and they're organic too.

We use aquaphor baby wash and for dry skin.
For diaper rash - we use either a&d ointment, desitin or arbonne.
