BTDT - 15 month old vomiting
Soooo......my dd threw up for the first time Wednesday night. She got sick a few times throughout the night. I called the Dr. and he said as long as she was fever free(she was/is) then monitor and give pedialyte. She woke up fine Thursday morning. She was fine all day Thursday, except very small appetite. Friday she woke up with a runny nose and congested cough. She didn't each much all day and then threw up again last night. This morning she is lethargic, very little appetite, cough, and runny nose, no fever. Should I take her to the Dr.??? Is this the stomach bug??? Wwyd? Clueless first time mommy here. lol TIA!

I wouldn't, unless she seems to be dehydrated (less wet diapers, no tears when crying). Sounds like a stomach virus, they can hang on fro a few days and there isn't much a Dr can do for it. Hope your DC feels better soon!

I never hurts to take them in but it does sound like a regular stomach bug. As long as she's drinking (sipping) throughout the day and having wet diapers she'll be okay. It'll take a few days to get her appetite back and then just start off with bland foods like rice and poached chicken until she can tolerate it. No dairy! Milk is the devil with an upset stomach. Hope she feels better soon. Stomach bugs are the worst!
