Brushing teeth nightmare
Everyday for the past 3 months, my 4yo has been giving me such a hard time brushing her teeth. She used to love brushing her teeth when she had the training toothpaste. However, it wasn't freshening her breath so we moved up to the next level (where she has to spit the toothpaste out).
Everyday it is a battle to brush her teeth. I have bought her a variety of toothpastes and let her choose which one she wants. I have taken away things (no treats, cartoons, etc). I even bought her old toothpaste to put on top of the new one to mask the flavor. Nothing works. It ends up with me usually yelling, feeling like a horrible mom.
Does anyone have any ideas??
TIA

Re: Brushing teeth nightmare
Tell her that you will brush her teeth with the big girl tooth paste, then she can do it with the other tooth paste.
DS has a spin brush and things its the best thing so he enjoys brushing his teeth.
We used to sing a song to "row row row your boat":
Brush, brush, brush your teeth Brush your little teeth Up and down and all around You've got to get 'um clean.
